Scholarship Fund
The Mechanicsburg Area High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund was established in 1980 under the direction
of Mabel M. Vogelsong '25. Initially the Fund began with local solicitations resulting in $10,000 and has grown to over
$500,000 with donations from Mechanicsburg graduates
throughout the country.
The Scholarship Fund is held by the Mechanicsburg Area Foundation and is overseen by the Greater Harrisburg Foundation. All monies are held in a permanent endowment fund with annual interest income being appropriated for the annual student scholarship awards.
Thanks to the generous supporting members such as you, the dollar value of each scholarship has increased every year.
